The Youth Navigator Network (YNN) in Ohio has launched an initiative aimed at assisting young individuals who have aged out of foster care. This new YNN Flex Funds program offers financial assistance to former foster youth aged 21 & 22 to address immediate and one-time financial needs.

YNN Flex Funds are intended for one-time expenses, covering essentials such as housing application fees, security deposits, work attire, textbooks, and other critical necessities. The program's flexibility ensures that recipients can address pressing financial needs not typically covered elsewhere, empowering them on their journey toward independent living.

YNN is a flexible and responsive navigator program designed to support young people up to age 23 years old in Ohio who have had an open case with children services, are in foster care, or have aged out of care. The introduction of YNN Flex Funds for foster alumni represents a significant stride in bridging the gap for young people navigating the challenges of adulthood.
