OVERVIEW

The Young Adult Advisory Council (YAAC) is an integral part of Youth Navigator Network (YNN), dedicated to ensuring that the program reflects the voices of young people transitioning to adulthood. The YAAC meets regularly to share insights, offer feedback, and provide guidance that shape program services. Their efforts ensure that YNN remains young person-informed, empowering future generations to grow in their journey toward independent living.

THE YAAC PODCAST

Care to Conquer

The YAAC also hosts the Care to Conquer podcast, a dynamic space where they discuss topics around personal growth, interdependence, and the challenges of adulthood. This podcast features a variety of guests who share their stories and experiences in navigating the transition from youth to adulthood. The podcast is available on Spotify, our YNN App, and right here on our website.

ADVOCACY

YAAC members are involved in advocacy efforts and are proud members of various advocacy groups. Their voices are crucial in pushing for systemic change and ensuring that young adults have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed. The YAAC is more than a council—they are changemakers dedicated to supporting the growth and development of young people everywhere.
